Sentinel Exploration Managing Director Simon Adams gives an update as Sentinel Exploration wraps up diamond drilling program on two prospective holes at Marda East Gold Project in Western Australia. This new drilling program with Terra Drilling followed up an RC drilling result of 30m @ 1.12g/t gold from 12m depth in Hole 057.

“We’ve successfully completed both diamond holes at Marda East, and Terra Drilling has now demobilised from site,” Mr Adams explained.

“We’re very excited about what we might learn from the high-quality core we’ve recovered. We’ve already identified some geologically interesting features that should help us better understand the structure and controls of the mineralisation system.

The core will now head to Perth for detailed structural analysis, cutting and assay. A big thanks to Terra Drilling and our geological team for a safe and successful program.”

Sentinel looks forward to seeing what the core tells us, and will provide updates as results are delivered.
