Sentinel Exploration Managing Director Simon Adams provides an update from the Galt Discovery Centre in Perth, as the Marda East core gets cut as part of important steps towards assays, and a much better understanding of the geology and structural setting at the Marda East Gold Project.
“The core has already been photographed, specific gravity measurements have been completed, and Jon Standing from Model Earth has carried out a detailed structural geology review of both diamond holes,” Mr Adams explained.
“Today we are moving towards the next stage of work in relation to our diamond core, with the core being cut at the Galt Discovery Centre in Perth. Which will allow us to prepare samples to send off to assay.
Of course, the assays will be the important thing and we’re anticipate anticipating getting those in the next few weeks.”
Sentinel looks forward to seeing what the core tells us, and will provide updates as results are delivered.
